Hi Landy Friends,
I am Stefan from Dortmund /Germany and usually not surfing any abroad Landy-Forums.
The reason I am joining here is simple. My defender windscreen cracked yesterday which usually isn,t an issue.
Because of prices of genuine parts as well as these offered by free dealers here compared to what I identified in the webshops
of the well known UK dealers, because of NO mail orders for such items and because of lack of time until the end of the month , I am looking for
some recommendations to replacing it in the area of Aberdeen beginning of June, when heading for our Shetland/Orkney holidays.
Is there someone who knows , could recommend a garage / dealer ,whatever offering reasonable prices for such a windscreen ?
I´d like to replace it either on the way to ,or back from the islands, as I have to manage the German TÜV/ MOT in June, when being back and there will be only a few days left.
Oh I forgot , I am driving a 1994 Defender 130 Single Cab with a little expedition body.
Any ideas / support is highly appreciated ,
Thank you very much in advance,
Cheers,Stefan
