Hi All as title says new to this land rover lark.
I have acquired a 2007 Discover 3 HSE (private purchase at a very good price) very happy with it, thing is all the indicators flash at the same normal rate (all 6) but the internal direction light (left only) blinks at twice the normal rate.
Question is why? starting point, flasher unit i thought would be the first place to start, but where is it?
bugger if i can find it and not shown on any google search, so i thought join a Land-rover forum and ask the pro`s, whilst delving & poking about found that the 13 pin towing plug was a cut and solder into harness at plug adapter points, removed these and it slowed slightly (earth problem how i love those)

Can any one on here point me in the correct direction before i pull and clean each earth point in it beast

Welcome aboard :)

haven’t a clue about your modern thingummy…. Way too modern for me…. But cleaning the earth points will be a damn good idea anyway ;)

someone with knowledge of electronics will be along shortly … probably :D

Check the bulbs are actually the correct wattage, they might flash but might only be 5 or 10 watt etc.
I dont even know if they have an ind relay, might be on the fuse board ?
Iirc the d3 trailer lights are connected to the car behind the left hand pull out panel in the boot, each circuit should have its own fuse, so maybe pull all the fuses and see what happens?

The disco3 forum is very good for d3/4 knowledge.

Hi there and welcome.
If the trailer wiring has been butchered, then I'd disconnect that for a start and go from there

I know if the trailer has LED bulbs this can happen might be someone has used a LED bulb in the car and because not using right amount of power it thinks a bulb has blown

This is exactly what used to happen on my old Defender when one of the brake lights had blown.
