I bought a 90 as an unfinished project and am at the stage of trying to put the body back on but I have about a 20 mm gap at the back of the doors and wondered what was the best way to deal with it - move the rear body forward a bit and pack it with something or other - move the bulkhead back a bit - a bit of both or what ?
What would be an acceptable door gap?
Judging by the colour of the body parts when I got them it looks like the rear, doors and bulkhead all came from different vehicles originally.

20mm is way to much to be able to fiddle back - i don't suppose the previous owner replaced the front outriggers ? - if these weren't replaced accurately the bulkhead could be sitting too far forward

It looks like a new'ish chassis with no obvious alterations.

maybe time to get the measuring stick on it - think there's a chassis plan in the back of the Haynes book

Don't have the haynes one though I found a chassis plan on the internet but it is a bit vague about where the datum is, it shows it at some undefined point just in front of the rear face of the rear cross member, but all other measurements seem OK.
What should the door gap be?
