Looks decent Nodge. A credit to you. Hope you get a good price for your efforts.
Much betterrer to sell electronics on ebay then. This is true. But I'd already "borrowed" money from the bathroom fund to buy it in the first place, so I'll be putting the money back with interest.
Fingers crossed. What I really need is some snow, then it'll sell quickly!Looks decent Nodge. A credit to you. Hope you get a good price for your efforts.
Oh yes. That's my "play money".Much betterrer to sell electronics on ebay then.
To finish this thread off now. Project Tonga 1.8 went to a new home tonight.
It's strange isn't it.
I bought her as a replacement to my misbehaving SE auto, only to find the fault on the auto (fingers crossed!!), so now sell her on as I really do prefer the drive of an auto box.
Still it looks like project Tonga has gone on to a good home, and will now take up a new role for the future.
Goodbye Tonga 1.8, and all the best for the future.
Congratulations, or should I say commiserations as you'll miss her, I missed my 1.8K but SWMBO who drives it all the time prefers the diesel as it's easier to drive. To finish this thread off now. Project Tonga 1.8 went to a new home tonight.

You've seen the pictures, and you might well see her about.Good work Nodge. Sorry I didn't get round to have a look before it went.
She's gone west to the Helston area.Has it gone local?
It's a bit of a mixed emotion really Ali. I prefer the 1.8 engine, compared to the boat anchor of a diesel. However I prefer the auto box, and mine being an SE, has the heated leather and heated screen, so it's generally more relaxed to drive. The 1.8 is much more nippy though, and driving it you can definitely feel it's 150Kgs lighter on the front end.Congratulations, or should I say commiserations as you'll miss her, I missed my 1.8K but SWMBO who drives it all the time prefers the diesel as it's easier to drive.
