Evening all as title say I'm pushing my luck asking for this but i though i may as well give it ago

there anyone here near to chippenham wiltshire that fancies renting out a welder for a day or two this weekend would happily collect and give you some pennies for use need to get my rangies rear cross member welded in ! only have normal power sockets so can't be 3 phase

sadly the truck isn't road legal so can't be taken anywhere

So explain to me, how someone renting out a welder on your behalf in this neck of the woods for you to use in your neck of the woods (I assume) can be sure it would be returned in time at the end of the rental period.... just asking cos I don't know you from Adam

Think he means rent / borrow one of some one on here as opposed to a company.

Why not just a hire a welder and get the service back up if the machine goes wrong or is damaged. I wouldn't be happy lending out an expensive piece of kit to a complete stranger that may or may not know how to use the machine.

i under stand your point but i would have happily left a cash deposit for the loan of the welder i also have city of guild welding certificates but i have given up hope for now anyway
