Hi guy's, just signed up to the forum in hope of some advice!

I've been looking at purchasing a defender 90 for quite some time, a couple of friends have them and I like everything about them. Went to Billing on Sunday with a mate which was a good insight however i'm stuck on a few things and would like some advice:

-With a budget of around £5000 would a 300tdi be my best option? I'm unsure as to how good/new a 90 will be for that price range?

Depending on if you want rear seats/windows etc you should be able to pick up a decent TD5 for that with a bit of looking

yes you could get a very clean 200/300tdi for that or even td5.. model will affect price though as mentioned above

go find a few you like the look of on ebay or somewhere than put link to them in a thread and ask for opinions on value condition milage etc...

And pictures always grab our attention!

get the best 300tdi you can find. for 5k you can get a good 300 and probably a not so good td5.

or a very nice 200 tdi..in orange of course
