Personally I would not bother with a "service kit". I have found that some top quality brands are outsourcing their parts from china and putting them in their own branded packaging, I have a big hate of anything made there.
My puma is the later 2.2 with a DPF so has a different (low SAPS) oil specification to your 2.4, but essentially both should have top quality fully synthetic 5w30 oil. I have attached the specification reference for your engine oil. I source my oil normally from OPIE OIL, but for engine oil in the last couple of years have used oil from Smith & Allan. Both have fast delivery to your door. Do your search to find your preference. Note the specification is a Ford spec (the engine is a Ford), google using the reference for better known equivalents (ACEA etc).
Gear box and transfer box I last used Millers XF Premium Gear Oil MTF 75w90 fully synthetic which meets the Ford specs for these boxes. Fully synthetic is essential for the gear box. Be aware that when filling the transfer box the filler plug is NOT a level plug (unlike earlier models), it is necessary to measure the correct quantity in.
For the front and rear diffs I use COMMA Gear Oil SX75w-90, this is a semi synthetic GL4 / GL5 oil.
For air filters I use Mann or Mahle. Oil filters, Mahle - I stopped using Mann oil filters as I found them to be a poor fit and dubious quality.
Fuel filter - I have only ever used genuine Land Rover. Last year I stocked up on oil filters, fuel and air filters to get a minimum value order for free delivery, got enough for about 3 years of services, from Island 4x4. The fuel filter I chose was an OEM quality item by Parker.com and made in the USA (part number WJI500040G). I will post a link to another thread regarding fitting a fuel filter which might be useful.
