Hi All,
only now and again when i brake it seems to really pull to the right ,and at the same time get a shuddering a bit like the abs going in ,
is it a sticking brake /caliper ? also how do you adjust the hand brake.
thanks in advance
ETR

Take the pads out of all the calipers, the ones that are 'wedged/rusted in'
are the cause.
(assuming you do not have any hydraulic leaks)

The handbrake is the drum underneath, adjust the bolt with a spanner until the drum cannot spin then 'back off' bolt until it does.

mine was pulling to the right, it turned out to be grease leaking onto the left brake disc from the swiwel housing.

My dads disco's brake problem was a sheared pad. The pad bit came off from the other bit (descriptive i know), the pedal shook up and down and pulled to the right a little, and that was on the back wheel!

I had a similar problem to this in mine.

Mine was a dodgy track rod end on the draw bar for the steering. As the brake was applied the draw bar in effect got shorter, allowing the right front wheel to point out, the steering wheel also moved. Might be worth checking out.
