just look on the bay and the gear box is 1k couldn't find the winch though.

Jeep and toyato pto winches complete are 3-3900 quid on the bay ready to bolt on.

He has something worth more a new bumper and a good 10,000 Lb winch. and if he lets it go for a used winch he is a fool, plain and simple. He should pm Ratty and get a honest price for what he has

It'll be a husky if its ex board, last one I saw went for £400 and another for £200

It will therefore still be nice and used looking due to sitting on the front uncovered for however many years they owned the 110 ;)

how much for the pto gear box and all the bits

look used, but could be in new working order as it may of never been used

Doc just got a PM back from a very senior member that I would trust my life with, and knows his business and he priced this winch from 600-750 quid. said he would not sell it for less than 750 quid, with pto shaft. so OP needs to look for pto shaft

I wouldn't swap it for a leccy winch, But It'd have to be mint to be worth £750 £500 is much more realistic price.

this is the entire set up, check the price

Now if its the PTO one its even cheaper

Maybe you should find the price of the ones that have been sold cos everyone waits until the last minute to bid on em.

The complete setup with props is worth at least £600 in my opinion. A prop winch can be converted to hydraulic or leccy. If it is gonna get sold on and the winch shafts are up for grabs then I'm happy to pay decent money just for the shafts cos they are rare as rocking horse dung and I've been after a set for 5 years and every time I think I've found some they vanish into thin air.

The OP can easily mount the winch on a different bumper and sell the original bumper on to help cover the cost of the replacement bumper.

Last one I saw went for £400 for a complete set up and bumper and it was pretty good, bumper was dented though ;)

As pikey said its gonna have to be mint and if its been sat on the front of a leccy board 110 for the last decade its not going to be a minter

I reckon that if he stuck it on eblag he would get more for it than you say he will.

You also didn't bother to tell him that all he had to do was fit the winch onto a disco winch bumper. Not being cynical here but I think you want summit for nothing.

When the winches go cheap on ebay it's generally cos it's local pick-up only and in a s**t place to get to. If he lives pretty central so not far to go to pick up or can pack it on a pallet for a courier and find someone to deliver it for around £80 it'll sell for a good price.

Was in newcastle IIRC and I'm pretty sure that he could work out that all he would have to do was fit it onto a disco bumper

I posted up a couple of pics from google to show him the difference in the legs and even told him that if he was going to cut the tray off he'd need to make new legs for the tray so it mounts to the chassis correctly as its vertical on the disco

I've already got a husky and twin alternator setup that I can use if needed to power it and I'm bidding on a complete garwood setup on the farm auctions

was looking around and you should be able to go to a tractor place and be able to buy complete yoke assemblies for 25quid and a square slip tube shaft for under 40quid so under 100 quid and you could make one. as them shear pin joints are cheap. just have your measurements(diameter) for the shafts on the gear box and pump and shear pin size dia

Thanks for all the help, will hopefully get it this week at some point, so I will put it on here to see what I got/need and hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction

Oh yea also cost £50

The main prop may be the wrong size for a disco but you should be able to get a new one made at an agricultural prop specialist pretty cheaply ( you can keep the u/j's (the expensive bits) you already have and slot em on the keyways of the new prop. If you do need a longer prop and yours is up for grabs can I have first dibs on it please. :)

Cheers mate to be honest I might sell whole lot, how do u engage it so can turn It by hand to see if it works ok
