Mark,
I found out and connected mine the way it is supposed to.
Just a few questions to put down on the last remark. If your TD5 is before 2003 them they are all the same, including the Defender, even the less powerfull engines in tje Defender. PSI made 1 box for those and they work as they should do.
Yes, at the end a job like TD5 Alive can do with intercooler and stuff is the better one....and the more expensive. If you want your TD5 to drive like a speeding car them doit like that, if you want a bitmore power to pull off more easy and for example like me have some extra to pull the heavy trailer the PSI box is a good alternative.
It as easy as you see and was just explained.....the 5 with wires solder to the yellow wires on the red connector at the ECU. (1 yellow wire and 4 yellow with marking color, based besides eachother on the connector)
+ to the battery, - to the mass....
the other black one or in some cases the purple one is an on and off switch which I didn't connect...
So 7 wires to connect.
Then open the box and you can adjust the powersettings, not all are set the standard settings and there is a big difference between them.
If you need anymore help let me know, I am experimenting with the settings to find the best for my needs.
