Hi all, I thought I'd join and see what's happening in the land rover community. It has taken me 8 years to finally buy a land rover, I started with a jeep Cherokee, moved onto a new Suzuki grand vitara and then onto a bmw x5 but none of them done anything special for me. Last weekend I finally decided to take the plunge and buy a proper car (get the bank to buy me a proper car)!!!!!

I love the outdoor lifestyle (originally from SA) and was wondering if there are any clubs, rides in Essex? I have a 2 year old son and want to get him exposed to the outdoor lifestyle now already.

Any feedback will be appreciated

No idea about clubs in your area, and even less about a Disco 4!! Only got my first ever LR in June (Disco 2).
 
Oh dear...... This is how it all starts......

I bought myself a range rover 2 years ago, wanted to play in it.... Trashed it abit, spent money fixing it.
Got well into my laning, decided I couldn't keep scratching the rangie and told the wife I'd sell the rangie and buy something economical and an off-road toy to play in that didn't matter if it got scratched etc.

It's now been 18months since I bought my disco and I still haven't sold the rangie....... And prob won't either :)

Something tells me you've got the wrong forum. :rolleyes:
To get your son exposed to the outdoor lifestyle you don't need a flash 4x4, just take him for a bloody walk. :rolleyes:
