We have a 2013 Defender Utility, which has nothing protecting the paint on the wheel arches in the back . Because Landrover has now made them with a stupid step in them, instead of a straightforward square, we are struggling to find a good way of protecting them from dog claw scratches, etc.

Has anyone else had the same problem and managed to find something?

Cheers :)

I don't really want carpet as it clings onto dog hair and is harder to keep clean. Neither Exmoor Trim or Nene Overland have anything and I'm just waiting to hear back from a ply-lining company to see if they can help.

Even Landrover themselves can only supply carpet for it.

rubber mats for floor then buy another mate and cut to fit the side boxes

How about a spray on load protector by the likes of Line-X etc?

I suggested that to my hubby, but he wasn't keen as he doesn't think it will come off again if needed - I'm not sure why that would be a problem, but hey, I'm female, what do I know

Does not come off very easy at all and if you get it off then a respray is required. Plus the fumes that would be released from it

If you has Costco membership they do thick rubber boot liners for about a tenner.

One of them cut to size would do the job"

I tried to give away the ply lining from my 110 Utility when I sold it and no-one was interested.
Ended up burning it.

so front facing seats fit easily

just buy some rubber treadplate and do the main floor too

Oh seats . . . that makes sense then. Just a shame no-one that I spoke to seemed to know the reason

The rubber treadplate looks good, thanks for that! Do you happen to know where it can be bought? I have googled it but can't see anything like your picture.
