Thanks for advice people. This is the first time ive used this forum so very helpful. On examination, the uj coupling attached to the prop seems intact but am going to extract the joint itself tomorrow and have a good look. The other part in the images is beyond repair, I could source one, it would help, the prop itself is okay.

Dr Evil - I could do with one of those pal if they're being offered up fella, I have paypal?
Kwakerman - no signs would you believe! A very very slight shake at about 50 mph which I put down to the gearbox, no clunking. It became detached at very low speed off road, thankfully. Got it home locked on the rear axel.
