Project pile of poo is finally running after a shed load of time, money, sweat, blood and many tears, iv'e finally completed the fitting of a bmw engine into my p38, after the previous engine sadly passed away, r.i.p. range rover engine,as many of you are aware you have to fit the range rover electronic bits onto the top of the bmw pump, i understand that the idle speed is adjusted by sliding the top section backwards or forwards until i have an idle speed of 750, does anybody know which way it is to increase the idle speed, as mine is ticking over at about 600, is it forwards towards the front of the car or backwards towards the bulkhead? any help will be gratefully received.
