got a problem with my 110 XS double Cab TD5 54 plate I have lost power to the central locking and the alarm don't set indicators don't flash nor does the interior light come on only manually I have no problem staring and running thinking it could be the relay thought it may have been battery in the zapper at first changed them done the rigmoral and still nothing

Not sure if this will work but I seem to remember having this alarm system on a Rover and MGF. When you changed the batteries in the key fob you would need to re-sync the fob with the car.


Firstly take the battery back out of the fob and press the buttons a few times to drain any current this will "reset" the fob.


Then refit the battery. Now back at the Landy press the lock button 4 times and then the unlock once, it should resync. (Make sure the car is unlocked before you start this).


Daft question, but have you tried your spare fob?


Let me know how you get on, as I think there may be another way with the key turned in the lock, but would need to check.

Changed the battery on the remote for my 110 XS 2003 a few times over the years and never had to resynch.

hi all thanks for the reply's thought you may want to know what the problem was it was a broken wire shorting out on one of the back door locks all sorted now
