Hi can any one help, I have a Land Rover TDI 300 N reg. The problem is intermittent cutting out! Which is quiet scary, in the garage and has been there a week and no solution yet!

They have tried the following looking at lock barrel, electrics have been checked and the solution he has come up with is a switch on the dash board to be replaced on Monday.

Does anyone else have any views as I have very little faith in this second hand car sales man and urgency is not in his vocabulary!

I did love my Land Rover but slowly starting to hate it unreliable and already have damage on it from a skip lorry driver who denies hitting it. Which leads to the next question where do I get paint from its red and its either Portafeeo Red or the other for that year? :(

In which case I am gonna stick with my original answer.

'man who searches for '300tdi spider problems' using the forum search facility may get to the bottom of his troubles.;)

It is worth checking the fuel sedimenter isn't blocked too as they are rarely cleaned out and an often cause issues.:)

And painting it....

Thank you one and all for your help, more in 30 minutes than the second hand car sales did in a week.

As to my Landy being red, I like it that way even if idiots can't see it or got some excited on seeing my Landy hitting it.
