ello again,
yet more problems from the G. i dont know why i even bother with the haynes manual cos i always end up on here anyway!
so, i changed my fuel filter today, without any probs. i used the hand lever below the fuel lift pump to aid bleeding. i did things in this order.
union bolt ontop of filter
bleed valve on fuel injector
union bolt on all 4 injectors.
i turned the ignition on to activate the stop solinoid and pumped some more.
i then turned the engine over a few times and i couldnt get it to start
as some of you may be aware, ive been having starter problems anyway (which i have yet to solve) so it was taking ages and ages, and i think ive drained my batt
question is, can i use jump leads from my girlfriends car to try and start mine, or have i missed something on the bleeding/priming? do these things take in a lot of air when you remove the filter?
its a 1984 2.5n/a 90.
cheers,
G
