Description

Some users prefer to not have the banners shown (eg. donator, mod)

Solution

Add checkboxes in user preferences to disable them for that user.

(I know this is on the todo list already, but adding it here so it's organised)

+1 Been thinking about bringing it up again, but figured they had enough to be going on with

I think he just wants everything on here so it's all in one place as a big list.

then they'll be marked off as resolved.

To be fair it is working better now. I cant think of many more! Still isn't as easy to see when old advice freds pop up, but it is a minor quibble.

This is now opt-in. From your user preferences you can choose to show the donator banner.

you must have a flag in the db to say if they have donated.. else you wouldn't be able to show the banner.

you could use the flag as a conditional so only donators see the user preference.
