From what I've read in one the old LRO mag sometime ago they seemed very easy to install. I believe there was an issue with one version might be the original one having problems when over heating the motor inside burnt out. I think the square type. The newer ones have a round enclosed container with the motor separate. The connection are the heater inlet and outlet route from the engine to the heater matrix via a t junction. Then a extension cable leading out to the front of the grill.I think you only need to heat up for an hour. I think in remember rightly you can have a relay from the main power to an internal heater fan to warm the cab. Or in my the greenhouse CSW version.
A few were sold on ebay as second hand last time I remember. But be weary of no guarantees as to condition especially the square type. price wise can be about 360 odd beer chits. Hope this helps.
