Hi all
Things Go from bad to worse with my luck .my own td4 is in the garage having work done and i borrowed my mums td4 .on the drive home i lost power and had the engine light come on .every time I press the accelerator and turbo kicks in I get a power drop and the light comes on .as soon as i leave off the pedal it goes out .got the fault code read and it said pre fuel rail sensor error .what would cause this ? really panicky as it's my mums motor .would a dying low pressure pump cause this as it's pretty loud.

Another one for the fuel pressure sensor loom, any one who gets low power and engine management light should try changing the loom first, £30 for new parts, half an hour to fit, cheap fix if it works.

Got it sorted there thanks .turns out it was the low pressure pump was the culprit .swapped it with one i had from my own and running perfect now .thanks for the reply
