Sorry - Should've clarified that. Mine are UNF. It's a 1976. I guess the metric change point was around 1980?

Did they change every thread on the vehicle at that point, or are post-1980 models a typical hotchpotch of imperial and metric fixings?

I'm thinking it'd be a fair job to change the tooling for every thread.
 
That is like my old 1971 Vauxhall Victor Super 1600. It had drums all round but earlier fd's had discs on the front. I had an alternator but my mate had a dynamo same year/model. There was something else but I cant remember. they get to the end of the model and bung on all the spare bits that fit.
That was a rust bucket.
 
Took the bulkhead and a few other bits in the back of my old Astra for a trip to Wedge in Eastleigh for galvanizing.
