Thanks Tony, had time on my hands today do I took the switch pack from the red one,I know that works, pluged it into the black one everything worked .pluged the black one into the red and bugger all.opened it up and it looks like something had been spilt over it in the past guess that something else to source.

Yep, it will work on any win10 machine. It's slightly different in win 7 and 8.

Cheers Martin.That's annoying... however, I know a guy who repairs faulty switchpacks (and currently has 8 of them on his bench in pieces being worked on...). He also sells repaired ones on exchange for the fault one aswell from memory
