drive through rear axle with PTO on the back of it?
Oh... and... some jacks so the back wheels are off the ground
OR, jack one wheel up, replace wheel with just a rim,
then run a drive belt from rim to power your wtf you need powering.
(will 1 wheel in the air work on a rangie?)

I want to put a hydraulic pump on. I'd have to try and mate it up with one of those electric clutches.

That's what I was thinking. Mate that up with an electronic clutch so it's only pumping when i switch it on.

I want to use it for an hydraulic winch. I had one on my old S11A before i sold it and as easye1 says, if i run a flow / return from the two block spool valve i can run all sorts from it.

all yu need is a valve to short circuit the system when not being used. they are used to be on all the time.
