Disco 300 Tdi conversion in to 110.
Nearly got my engine bay finished, Need Air box and washer bottle soon,
Next puzzle is my power steering Res, Think it needs to be a little higher then it is now in pics.
I had the pipe from box to pump lengthened to fit. I can easily lengthen one of the rubber pipes on the Res but the other is clamped on to the metal part of the pipe, Is there any way I can make this one longer without having to take back off ? Ican move it further along nearest the passenger wing, wherever it goes I will also have to make some kind of bracket to hold it in place, Been looking at other peoples pics of same conversion, but cant really see how they have done it.
Anyone done this before ?

because its not a pressure pip you can split it and use a tube and hose clips

Found some hose long enough for the thicker pipe from pump to bottle, but struggling to find some kind of tube to join the smaller 12 mm one from pipe to bottle. any ideas of what would fit ?

Got the connections sorted, forgot to take some bloody boiling water. The bottle will come up to the right height now, when I get them joined. but will have to make some kind of bracket to hold it in place on the wing.
Anyone got any pics of how they have done it ?

This is where the reservoir is on mine, I attached it to the inner wing behind the radiator, there is a vertical seam that it can be bolted to.

That Pic is Just what I wanted to see Mate, Thanks. Mine is situated just where yours is but was starting to worry that I had it on the wrong side as I need air box and washer bottle in too. Which are my next jobs .
I am waiting for an air box like yours from a mate, but I dont have a clue which washer bottle to use, I have one off Disco but it is far too big.
Would love more pics and info on how you have fitted these in that space, as it is the exact space I have left.
Cheers
