Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the best solution to fix a power steering pump on a 300 tdi? weather it be 2nd hand breaker - recon - or lots of money on a new one.

Personal preferance but I would go for a recon but then there is reCON and there's recon.

Go for new you should get a parts warranty on it then and there not that much money i think i paid about £60 for the last one i did but that was 2 years ago

As per Beast, still about £60 - £70 from somewhere like Paddocks, etc. Local parts suppliers wanted about £110 plus the old one back. Changed mine about 6 months ago, nice easy job. Just remember to check that everything is line when you put it back together or the fan belt may shred.
