Hi All,
My Defender 110 200tdi CSW steering has gone really heavy as if blockage in hydraulics? Taken off power steering pump, but seems to be moving freely, no leaks, but fluid a bit thick and crappy! How can you tell if pump bust, can't get it opened?
The power steering box has had a leak from where steering column enters, do I need to replace this? Would an adwest 4 bolt box (from discovery)easily fit into replace my gemmer 4 bolt box? I think I'd need to change drop arm, but apart from this?
