when designa build a series chassis they offer upgrades and one off them is power steering . if it was ordered with coils i'd be surprised if thay did'nt order power steering aswell , has it still got the series relay or do'es it have a steering box ?

both my series 2 and my series 3 have steering boxes and steering relays, does that mean i have power steering?
 
just a thought but is it not possible to fit a bias valve control rod from a tractor to your series not as good as power steering but better than going to the gym, with a little jiggery pokery with a grinder and a welder you could fab some brackets. any farm supplie shop will sell you one i think they are about eighty quid but well worth it.

sounds intresting whats a bias valve control rod thingy ??? ,and isnt a series 3 tractor like enuff already lol
 
if y'awl do a search fer power steering in here yule find a post abart putting power steering from something else ointo a series. from i can remember it wur fairly straight forward. and not too expensive . but then when does anyone do a search before posting?
 
i did try a search on here for power steering ,but i got a lot of stuff on problems with and not a lot regarding retro fitting it to a series 3 ,but i guess unless the search parameters are spot on then its just down to trawling through loads of stuff thats not greatly relavent to me ,and also if every one did a search before posting on here then there wouldnt be half as much intresting stuff to contribute to would there ???
 
and we wint have to keep repeating the same answers over and over again thereby stealing valuable **** takin time from us
 
i found that one ,just not sure i want nissin bits on my landy ,was thinking more long the lines of something off a 90 that would work without loads of alterations ,mabe be my fault for not being more pacific with the question
 
am not sure if you want datsun bits on yer landy, but now you have that option.
if someone sold a kit to do it at a reasonable price you'd probelly buy one and not even know it wur orf a nissan.
 
yeahh true ,but a nissin steering box and colum is where the rot starts innit,next thing is the landys become none leaking ,reliable,and bits wont drop orft,thereby,enabling me to have time to do things around the house like diy and decorating,and fitting kitchens etc ,,,,,,can you see where im going with this ???
 
if you'd been a member for longer you'd know it was either me cars or her. seeing as the cars dint winge and moan and ask fer new curtains every other week. the cars won. so i do reside on me own in the middle of nowhere. and its great...ferk ave even got one trout that comes around and uses a hoover?? what ever one of them is.
