Hi, have read a post from 2006 about collapsed suction side power steering hose, I have the same problem on my 2004 TD4, did not see to say how to address this problem? Anybody on information how to fix/ forget or where to source new hose.

They are supplied new like that. I think it's a crude way to reduce flow in the system. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for the update, noticed after posting a photo in a spare parts site that they are evidently made bloody flat!
