Is there something special about these? I'm breaking a Discovery that has a 4 bolt box and as far as I know they're all the same?

Nope - just the drop arms are different.

I have a feeling Simba1 was being lazy and decided to see if we would find him one! He has not been back since posting on Thursday.

I have one, might need a seal on the output shaft .. :)

£25 excluding courier, whom you should arrange, or collection .. ;)

Good mod. Most people do that to eliminate the ball joint in the swan-neck and have replaceable ends instead - good idea in my eyes - but I am guessing he isn't wanting to change the damper bracket and things.

I would do it too but I have the ball joint tool and can do it in-situ on my 90 in 15-20mins so it would pain me to have the tool and not need it!

Hi thanks where are you situated ,is it easy to change seals?
Regards John.

Doncaster, no idea, I've never done it. It might be OK, but I'd probably change it, I'll get photo's tomorrow, I have to go out now.

Not difficult.

Helpful video -

This guy (Mike) makes the Land Rover Toolbox videos look like amateur hour and he does them in a friendly way with some comedy thrown in which makes his videos far easier to view. I watch his videos just as part of my daily procrastination routine - the other videos make me want to get back to work!
