Hello all, back again,

when my 110 is at full lock there is a nasty noise comming from the engine bay (not a rubbing noise) im thinking its the PAS pump, when you come off full lock the noise goes away. any idears what it could be and can you fix the pump or is it throw away

PS it has no other stearing problems. Thanks Seth

sounds like its just the strain on the box when it reaches full lock and cannot go any further, pretty sure anyones would do the same, mine does, - dont force full lock if you can help it, not good for it..

My 90 does the same, a loud sqealing noise, at full lock. It's just something they do, if it gets too bad try bleeding the PAS system to remove any air, that can reduce the volume.

ahh, yeh sometimes the squealing noise can be the cam belt/power steering belt. just tighten it up.

The day somebody invents the squealing cambelt is the day that engine rebuils become a thing of the past.
