Since owning the car it's always seemed a little slugish, so i've removed the EGR valve, fitted a new lift pump, and put a decat pipe on as well to try to remedi this.

Had it in the garage the other day and the chap said the boost pressure was fine and he couldn't see any issues with the turbo however it was making a whistling sound under pressure and seems a little gutless - he suggested it could be an air leak somewhere.

I've checked all the samco intercooler hoses (and found it's got a ali sport intercooler fitted!), and checked the air filter is all good, but i can't seem to find a leak anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone can suggest any other places to look.

Failing that i'm going to do a fuel pump mod to see if that increases the power.

With the uprated intercoolers there is another mod you can do. The Boost pressure is currently measured before the intercooler, the bigger IC causes bigger pressure drop. move the waste gate pressure to the inlet chamber and it should help some...

Fuel pump mod will make a huge difference. Bet it makes you smile when you spin that diaphragm!!

why dont you just adjust rod to delay wastegate opening ,pump boost feed is better from turbo
