I've googled and used the internal search but have not been able to find any concrete answers.

I've got a set of 245/70/16 on modular wheels, however I need to replace one of the tyres so am going to buy two tyres. Replace the drivers side front tyre (bald patches), buy a new wheel to put the other new tyre on to go on passenger side front, and the current passenger side front wheel and tyre will be used as a spare.

The issue I have is finding out what size the wheels are! I've looked for markings and have found "Mangels - T 7JJx 16 866 DOT04/05 MADE IN BRAZIL 7 0 3". I'd assume fron that they are 16x7 wheels, however online there's other sites which suggest 16x8, and some that say 16x7. Does anyone know for sure, or a way of me working this out?

The tyre is :

and my plan is to get an extra wheel of the right size from 6705165SVMO | 16x7 Silver Grey Modular (obviously 16x8 etc if that's the correct size....)

cheers guys.

The 7JJx 16 bit is the rim size, so yes they are 16"x7".

The width always has a J and the diamiter either befor or after it. Dont ask me what the J stands for though because I havent the foggiest :D

As the tyres are 16" , then you would assume that wheels are 16" .

Yea, I got the 16 bit, it was the second number that I wanted confirmation on.

Cheers LSO1008, i'll go and get a 16x7 on Wednesday.

Cheers guys :)
