They are. Cheap but all matching.

I wonder if the haldex went because the tyres were being changed one at a time instead of the tyres on the front/rear axels being changed together

It’s very possible.
According to the invoice it was fitted in December 2022 at 43k miles.
In theory, it should now be good for another few years - either that or the car continued to rack up big bills so the owner cut their loses and got rid.
You pays your money, you takes your chances I guess.

It would ‘explain’ and command a premium, certainly.
In theory, a vehicle going to the main dealer will get genuine parts, fitted correctly, on time, and will receive updates etc. Importantly, it will also get the correct fluids used. Main dealer servicing is more expensive, and so a car can carry a premium for it.
The vehicle has only the first 3 years main dealer, which I dare say was just to protect their warranty at the time, so I don’t think it can command any sort of premium for a ‘main dealer’ service history.
The service interval history it does have is good, and a regular garage is at least a good indicator. Check reviews of the garage used perhaps… is it reputable?
It shouldn’t have needed a new Haldex in the first place, not at 40k miles.
I noticed on the invoice it said ‘refit new Haldex and refill with oil’… now that could just be missing detail and it is referring to the diff rather than the Haldex, but the Haldex takes a particular fluid only, and it is never referred to as ‘oil’.
Ultimately, all you can do is get it checked by someone that knows these vehicles on your behalf, but I think the consensus is that it seems quite expensive for what it is.

Thanks for that. I spotted it went up late yesterday afternoon.
I wouldn’t be happy spending £10k without some sort of warranty although I did send the seller a message to ask if it’s had any Haldex services and the timing belt/water pump done.

2nd hand dealer warranties are generally not that great to start with, with many caveats and exclusions and a very limited period. Especially on a 10 year old car.
Private sales are much cheaper, and gems can be found… look into taking your own warranty out, if that’s what you want. The money you would save on the purchase could pay for any repair, if it came to it!

It’s a minefield. At the end of the day, you make a choice and take your chances.

‘Most’ Haldex units won’t be serviced, as LR never showed it as a requirement. You can do it yourself relatively easily, with the OE parts here

So you could have a better spec F2, and save yourself over £2k.
