To answer both these posts, what I meant was £1500 would be a fair price, well fairish, but they will quote you that and then will knock the price down for every little thing, or so I have heard from others. Companies advertise round us "Higher price paid than Webuyanycar.com guaranteed."
Back in 2014 I bought mine GS auto with 150k on the clock, for £1850 so £3000 is either tongue in cheek or unrealistic. Have you looked on Gumtree and Autotrader for prices for comparison?
