hi guys
I've got a 110 land rover with a 300tdi disco engine in it. currently having problems regarding the fuel system.
its got enough fuel running through it to start up and idle fine, however once i get going i will start to lose power then cut out... give it a minute, start again then cut out after 20 meters or so (sometimes less sometimes more)
now I've changed the fuel sender unit, fuel lift pump, fuel filter and removed an inline filter that was after the fuel filter. I've removed the outlet on the fuel filter to check the flow and make sure everything is running fine up to that point.
this is a problem that has gotten progressively worse from cutting out once on a 5 mile journey to underivable.
from what i can gather the signed may be pointing to the injector pump, maybe the solenoid.
thats pretty much where I'm up to at the moment and I'm hoping someone can help me out, I'm not very experienced when it comes to mechanics so anything in as much detail as possible and or point me in the direction of some guides.
cheers
-Michael
