So I am off in the 90 to Portugal for 2 weeks with a mate in early October - planning to follow this route here.

Anyone done anything in Portugal? got any tips or good routes? wanna tag along?

Do you have exact dates? When you say your mate and you, is that in one vehicle or two.
I presume your going solo and not going with Voyage4x4.com. Oh, I have just realised your talking about October 2017?

Keep me informed I have nothing planned then, and I have never really been around Portugal to much.

If it was late October, I may be able to join you but I cannot get the amount of time off needed earlier in the month.

I do have a list of way points from central to southern Portugal which 2 of us attempted to follow last year, however, this method is tedious, slow and inaccurate.
Have a google at WIKILOC, log in, then download the offload routes that you require to your iPad.
I suggest trying this out first with a few routes in the UK.
