Gutted for you mate....our pets really get under our skin and whilst it is really hard to understand if you don't do pets they are truly members of our families....

A white boxer too...I love boxer dogs and white 1's are really cute...

Sorry again mate !

thanks all.....this morning was tough to say least.not seeing him waiting for me wagging tail and beaming face.allthough only two and half he were a right carctor.he used to sit right by me all the time and grumble at our other dogs if they came close.
never found out what caused liver probs.none of my other five boxers have it.
thanks all again, nice to know others genuinly care.

Sorry to here you mut is in a bad way I know how difficult it can be and I hope he pulls through OK.
Shop around for insurance there are loads out there from Argos to Asda, read the small print for ongoing conditions etc. we have just paid out £800 for a scratched eye ball. our Nellie is always in the wars Also most medications can be purchased from some chemist (we use Manor) cheaper than the vets.
Do all you can for them as they do for you but don't let them down when the time comes to do the right thing.

Trying to get insurance on a dog over the age of 8 is a pita. If you do get insurance it is severely restrictive. I've just got £600 back from my pet insurance.

Feel for you mate, have 2 boxers of my own and know how much of the family they are.Time helps and get really involved with the others to ease the pain.
