Hi guys. I have a 2004 freelander TD4 with a small issue....

It can take 1-4 turns to get it to start up, just chugs then dies. It does the same thing when warm to but is better then a cold start. Kicks out some white smoke then it’s is quite bobbly till I get it up to 40+ mph.

It has 2 intermittent faults,

1. Occasionally revs over, needle goes up but car doesn’t accelerate. Only in higher gears and 30mph or higher.

2. Car can shake when stationary. Doesn’t always happen though?!

I am guessing it’s a injector problem but would like some advice please?

Sounds like you've got a running fault, and also a slipped clutch.

For the running fault, you need to check all the connectors on all the sensors. Start with the basics, before condemning the injectors, although white smoke can signify an injector issue.
