Did you do the headgasket yourself or get a garage to do it? Was the head pressure tested and skimmed when it was off? Is there any smoke to accompany the loss of power? If so what colour is it? Is it only when cold that it's a problem to start? When you say it is lacking power do you mean that it feels that it is holding back or that it just has no ooomph to it?

double check the cam timing, its on a vernier. Quite often its out if the garage didn't use the locking pins

no smoke really just in mornings when cold after that its ok, head was done by garage ive checked timing was out one tooth sorted that an no difference, got new pump and new washer an orings still no difference. no power like its holding back come to a hill and nothing there loose speed rapidly. got told by landrover that injectors might be knackered just not putting right pressure through?

Check your MAF sensor and coolant temp sensor. MAF's are a common failing point and coolant temp sensors tend to play up after being overheated on TD5's.
