Have a couple of worn bushes on the back end, was thinking of fitting poly bushes. Only because they look easier to get back in with out a big press.

Would the insurance company consider this to be another modification? The can does need bushes to work properly, does it matter that they are not rubber landrover ones?

I already pay them enough money for the nudge bar and the towbar!

so by the same thinking, a pierburg maf and ronbox is not a mod, it just a better quality (and cheaper) part, right? :D

Sorry, off on a tangent......

in all honesty, what ever car I've had, I've never notified insurance about tow bars or nudge bars, and yes, had a knock and they payed me out even though I had a tow bar not declared?

The worst bit is they charge you twice for them....increase the premium for the modification and then want you to pay more money to cover them, should they become damaged!

Car Insurance is just a legalised scam, I'm sure of it.

They will use any excuse not to pay out, if they see the car, for minor damage, they don't see the car.

i agree, if you noticed few years ago policy increased when the police started using the AMPR cars and cams. so at this point insurance companies realised the chances of getting away with no insurance was slim so could charge what ever they wanted
