Hello all. New owner here and have found a blanked off plug under the passenger head light on the inner wing. Anyone know what it’s for?

looks like an earth. but could be wrong .somebody will be along soon to put me straight no doubt lol.

did u mean the one at the bottom plugged into the metal with the bolt through it .

It's plugged in to a bus bar that is bolted to the chassis. It's there as a grounding point for the lights. There's matching one on the other side, and two more (one each side) on bulkhead to inner wing intersections.

Cheers for that never come across that before. Cars I’ve have had before just have had a ring connector for the earth

earth point to the chassis, all wires connected to it are black
