You keeping the measurements to yourself? are they top secret.
I was going to try and draw it in paint or similar. It isn't square, it has a very slight V-shape.
I'll take a photo with my phone but it looks a bit messy!
Especially for Alan.
From left to right it is 22" wide. The shape is actually like an arrow where the point is 1/2" above the horizontal. The sides are 4 3/4" long. There is a central cut out at the bottom which is 2" wide and 2 3/4" deep. That just leaves the 2 bottom edges @ 10" wide.

And at certain speeds you seem to get a harmonic that causes an awful noise. I hope that is what is causing it anyway. Will confirm once replaced.
All that dust and crap banging straight into the system cannot be good though.
Already done here: Intake plenum filter replacement (Range Rover 4.0/4.6/p38)
Anywhere I see the word plastic and clip on a 20 year old Land Rover my heart fills with dread!
I've bought some waterproof double-sided tape to stick the door trims back where they might come loose. The screws look pretty easy.
It is just those clips that worry me!

You may find a few rusty screws as well there was on mine.
