Disco 2000 TD5, wont start!

Can anyone shed any light on this issue!

Remote fob no longer works, neither does central locking on key, electric windows dont work! it wont start and is showing M+S lights on dash!

I have removed the bcu and it does exactly the same thing!

So either BCU is buggered or is getting no Power! i presume im no mechanic though!

Can anyone help me! ive checked all fuses! What could this be??

is there power in the battery??? ive noticed this happens when you remove engine ecu no windows locks work nothing much will..... so could very well be ecu !!!!!!

Does that include the fuseable links ?

how do you check them? ive checked both fuseboxes ands all the fuses are ok! but i dont know what the fuseable links look like or how to check them?

You may have looked at them Chris, they are in the lower level of the engine bay fuse box, (two screws to undo) may be four fuses and around 100 amp they protect the cable from the battery to the fusebox's.

The above relates to the D1 but i'm sure the D2 is similar.
