I don't know how easy it is .. I been trying to find maps for ages now . And I don't really wanna pay 36 quid to glass.org .

for a start use the "quote" button. It makes it easier for folks to know who you're talking too.

If you want to go out laning why not try talking to people on forums like this one and tag along? you might find routes without having to buy maps and you may make some friends on the way.

and BTW rule number 1 of greenlaning is Never go laning on your own!

Like the guys say.. have a look in the green lanin section, there is a few from various areas that meet up on a regular basis, they know what they are doin, and which routes are safe to go on. Never go lanin on your own, these guys will help you if you get stuck, well after laughin first and takin piccies :D


If your determind you would prefer to sort your own out, your gonna need an OS map, lots of patience to work out routes, and then your gonna have to make sure the lanes you have decided on aint closed or protected. :D

the best way to see if yer can drive a lane is with the council cos they have final say if a lane is open or not. A os map should be used as a guide, then check the routes yer found wiv council man and see if yer wasted yer time looking or not
