Where's a good place to get new mouldings from?
Son's Disco has bits missing (fell off / brocken off) and it would be a bit tidier with a full set.

As I said earlier in this thread, I either got mine from Paddocks or my local Land Rover main dealer. As it was several years ago I cant remember which one it was now, but the price was a lot less than some have quoted on here.

Just got a new set to replase the old ones on my Disco, OE from Britpart has any body fitted a set of these or do I send them back?

If you have just bought them, why would you want to send them back?

There a doddle to fit. Cut the old ones off with a Dremmal (carefully). Give the area a quick wash, use celluolse thinners to remove any tracers of glue. if you do have any rust, treat and paint the effected area, (but it doesn't have to look tidy as the new plastic wheelarch covers will hide it). Wash and wax again, then glue the new items in place. This is best done with two people to make lining them up a little easier.

There not heavy or complicated to put on, put you need to make sure that you get them in the right position first time.

if you can boil and egg, you can fit these yourself in an afternoon.

Was going to send them back as they came in a Britart box but was assured they are oem, after removing the old moldings the part numbers molded into them are the same, easy job old ones came off easy, panel's washed, de greased new ones fitted look's 100% now.

Do
I'm picking up my Disco 2 on wednesday and mine are faded the same...By saturday they will be Java Black to match the car....Its an easy job to do...will be done in 4 hrs and they look the business the same colour as the car...Ive done 3 sets already for mates.[/QUOTDid you paint them in the vehicle or if you removed them what thickness of tape did you use to refit

I plan to look at mine. Just going to take the current ones off, sand down the roughness a bit, and then spray and plastidip.

I have done bumpers and what not in plastidip before and it brings them up brilliantly
