Hi All

Anyone got a suggestion as to what treatment might revive the plastic light surround and front grill? Tried Back to Black but ended up being a mottled grey!

Cheers for any help.

Just spray with halfords black vinyl paint.

Makes a braw job.

A lot of folk swear by linseed oil

don't know black shoe polish works just as well

I use a light coating of black Hammerite in aerosol, have done for many years, very long lasting with no cracking or peeling even after 10 years! Regards. Chris

Mine are painted body colour, so shouldn't be any issue in giving them a coat of black paint.

But clean well with degreaser now you have used back to black

+1 did this with mine and after a couple of coats came up a treat. Also did the wing mirror backs, grill and faded parts like ashtray cover on the dash. The stuff in the bottle not in the tin mind.
