My buddy has the tapping noise now on his so we are going to give it a go, his doesn't pressurize the coolant so it is worth a go.

I can see it working for a limited time if you just get a tapping, but if you have cracked alloy behind the liners, pressurising the coolant, I doubt it will work . As it was said how do you guarentee the liner is back up? one screw won't hold the liner up tight enough to the headgasket to stop the exhaust gas going back down the side of the liner for long.

For what it is worth I would try it. may last a while.

If it doesnt work you could get Top hats stuck in after.
