That's there to keep your hands warm when you have to push it, but being a propper tratter the electrics don't work anyway..

Please tell me this belongs to someone on here 1996 MONSTER TRUCK LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 300 TDI FREELANDER PICK UP BODY | eBay
Good to see you in the Freelander section. Yer always welcome in ere. :)

It's surprising how many want to upgrade their tratter/disco to Freelander bodywork. Often a complete bodywork can be picked up cheap if the transmission is feked up. If the bodywork hasn't been scratched/dented then it's surprising how little rust will be on it after 10 to 15 years.

For many years swb tratter owners have wanted to go bigger, and lwb owners have wanted something a little smaller. They meet in the middle at 100 inches which seems to be the perfect size. Typical of bob tails etc. That's the wheel base of the Freelander. ;)

well I could not believe it when I got an advisory on the MOT about my fuel tank cradle ,so I had a look and could not believe it , the tubing is ok just wants a repaint but the 2 pieces of flat and shaped metal well one of them part of it has gone , I just need some good flat plate metal and I could replace them ,and all this on a 2006 model the wife's 1998 tank cradle is in much better condition.

I do have a peek in here now and again but you lot have got electrical witch craft things like electric windows and cruise control that us tratter drivers can't explain how they work, apart from elbow grease and a house brick on the loud pedal:confused:

Nice to see how the other half live though with all your creature comforts and that twenty odd years after my tratter first saw the road Land Rover are still crap at all things electrical.

So do your doors really fall off in the rain? Is it some sort of emergency escape jobber gone wrong incase you drive into a lake whilst painting your toenails?:D

Na. Doors don't fall oft when wet. What really happened was someone on ere many years ago washed their Freelander and left the near side rear door open after cleaning round it. They then reversed oft the drive and either knocked the door oft, or just bent it back on a bollard or brick wall. Hence the doors fall oft when wet comments.

Only Freelander girls paint their nails. But not all.

Looks a bit suspect that. Tratterers owning reels of door tape. :pound:

The truth is out. Bit like LR's latest warning on yer wheels falling oft when wet.
