I picked it up after two months of having dickhęads ringing up saying my car wouldn't move or demanding recovery truck fee's or saying it would go to one garage and then going somewhere else.. people asking me where it was going when they ought to know... And then being moved on a bãstard fork truck who broke the exhaust.. then this.. I signed for the shįt job and took my car home...I then rang the experts and told them the car won't go back to the rednecks who damaged the exhaust for them to repair it as they might fúcking break something else.... Honestly Henry it makes me angry to think about it... I'm f8cking fuming now and I'm nowhere near it.... I'll sell the bumper and fit a full metal one..complete scam and the insurance payed for a genuine landrover bumper and the títs put plastic glue all over it... I wish my French was better and I'd love to get in touch with a French car magazine and tell them all about....angry? Fúcking understatement....

OUCH!
The car trade is sadly full of rogues. Here in the UK it is often the case that they recommend that parts that don't need changing wholesale should be changed (boosts the job hours and their profits, and all our premiums go up to cover this practice), however, what you have there smacks of 3rd World repairs that are just wholly inappropriate and unsatisfactory.

Not pretty, looks like a second hand bumper. Bet you wish you had done the job yourself. Bonne courage, I feel your pain.

not Good, what state is the exhausts/chassis where they’ve molested it?

You have it back - that’s something.
Get yourself a nice metal one, get rid of that - sell it on and forget all about it. Atleast then you’ll know itl be tidy, last years and the plastic nightmare will be behind you

Not even a response from the insurance insurance or the inspector... Total effing "uckwits"..
But... It nice to be behind the wheel of a beautiful flying machine.... Well... Maybe not so much of the flying:D

if they have charged the insurance company for a genuine land rover one and glued up the old then, then simply, that's insurance fraud

Pigs might fly !! Lol

Think they glued the old fog-vent bits onto the new one?

Given my bumpers a dose of ‘back-to-bl...grey’ earlier. They’ve had a hard life so there’s a few LITTLE chunks here and there - nothing like Piercy’s ‘new’ after 24 1/2 years abuse! They musta dragged it down the road on a rope when delivering scratch it up like that!

I know what your saying and I wish I had refused it there and then but after waiting for so long and dealing with all their incompetence.. I'd had enough... And all to my dismay. In honesty.... F7ck 'em..:(
