Hi all
I have bought an amplified DAB aerial. This needs a 12v feed. I was considering getting a piggy back fuse to make the process of getting power to the aerial quickly

What are peoples thoughts?

Thanks
Nick.

Check the installation diagram for your radio. Most radios have a 12 volt switched output specifically for things like this.
On ISO plugs, I believe that it's pin 5 on the power/facilities "A" plug, not the loudspeakers "B" plug.
It will be fused by the fuse in the radio circuit, so there should be no need to use a piggy back fuse holder.
Some amplified DAB aerials are arranged so that the 12 volt power is fed up the aerial coaxial cable as well as the signal.
